According to the Business Dictionary, the wealth of knowledge acquired by an individual after studying a particular subject matters or experiencing life lessons that provide an understanding of something is called education.

Acquiring such knowledge is fundamental for every person’s development. Nowadays, the benefit of education is supposed to be accessible to anyone but unfortunately not everyone has the chance to do so. Everyday, thousands of children and young people struggle to survive, lacking even the essential food to live. Sadly, most of these children will never set foot in a school.

In other cases, students decide to leave their education aside (teenagers in most circumstances) due to many reasons such as lack of motivation, personal or economic issues or simple rebellion against their parents or the social system. This is why it is imperative for parents and teachers to encourage youngsters to embrace and enjoy the process of educating themselves.

It is up to every child’s mentor to prepare them for life’s lessons and what better way to do this than to provide them with outstanding education: as we all know education starts at home.

Hopefully, in a near future, the number of college graduates will increase and the aspiration of having the best education possible will become part of every culture around the world. With this in mind, we could all build a better future for generations to come.
